Does anyone know if SLI video cards cause an increase in DPC latency? I JUST went SLI and am getting crackling over WASAPI.

I honestly don't know, but in case you are not aware, there is free software that checks DPC latency. You can perform a "before and after" test.

My system is averaging 6140us latency.
are you running windows 8 by any chance? cause DPC latency checker don't work right on windows 8

I used the DPC Latency Checker 1.3.0 and it's not giving me an average but it's about 100 most of the time with a spike to about 800-1100 every few seconds (every ~10 seconds after looking harder) and an absolute maximum of 1155.

Could a messed up driver installation be messing up with the latency? I've got one annoying device supposedly in Device manager that no driver can recognise.
