I recently purchased a DP930 and it was great for like a week or so, but now every time I tap the side of the monitor or shake my desk the screen flickers white for a millisecond or two. Anyone know what's up? Should I RMA it asap?

Thanks,

Dale Curtis

What res/refreash rate are you running?

If you are not at 85Hz, you may notice flickering

I used to have a similar problem with my SB930 as well, but it went away once I moved my computer on to my desk which separated the monitor cable and power cables. (Monitor cable used to run along and over ALL my power cables)

I'm running at 1280x1024 @ 100Hz, it's not refresh rate flicker. It's almost like something is loose in the monitor and every time I tap the sides it decides to go nuts :-/

Yes, You should RMA that. Also since you just got it, maybe you can return it to the store where you bought it from. Such as dell will come and pick it up and send you a new one

I think it could be a Loose and not stable electron gun

hmmm yeah that's what I thought too :-/ However I bought it from SecureMart and not dell so I have to figure out what the hell I need to do to get it RMA'ed.

Blah, and it is so nice right now too :/

:( :(
