Download a folder via web browser

I am trying to remotely download some files from my NAS. I access it via web browser and get a screen similar to Windows Explorer. I can navigate through the files and folders fine. I can only download individual files though. Is there a way to download a whole folder or a chrome extension that can help?

You'd more than likely need some to archive the entire directory/folder into a single file to get that to work properly, like Zip or RAR or even 7zip, just something that can archive - it doesn't need to compress but that would just help on the bandwidth depending on how compressible the content is - the contents of the directory structure or folders into a single file.

Never heard of any other way to do such a thing - if you had FTP access that might work since that's by design; using any HTML based tools would probably bork such a transfer quickly.
