Selling my Rig and building a new one. So no more 3870... Damn i love that card. Opted to get a cheap card this time around. Since its summer, i ride bike more then anything and Dont have nearly enough time to play games any more.

Soooo i got an HD3450. Pretty much just bought it to post video, then when winter hits. Maybe build a HTPC throw this card in then get a new card. Maybe a 4k series?

anybody have experience with the 3450? Is it too much of a card for me :p

it'll help assure you can boot with 10+ hard drives installed for mega storage space

I brought a 3450 when I recently built a new pc, To tie my over till the 4xxx come out and I plan on using more than two displays in the future, so a secondary card that doesn't dump too much heat is a bonus), which I believe to be a decent performance leap from the current stuff. And I'm pretty happy with the card, I've played some games on it and it handles fine, yes it can't run cyris @ very high, but I'm in no hurry.

Have you tried to overclock the card yet? I've got mine to 900mhz core/ 1050mhz memory (up from 725/ 800) which is a noticeable boost

I thought the 3870 was cheap, downgraded from 8800Ultra.
