I know my subject is not [H] but here it goes.

I currently have a little gaming ITX rig. 3770k, 16GB ram, GTX 690, Raid0 SSDs, Triple 24inch monitors (5760x1080) etc. I kinda realized that I wont be able to keep up with the latest and greatest anymore so I wanted to ditch my surround set up.

I'm planning to keep one of the 24inch monitors for portrait.

Now I'm thinking of getting a single 27 or 30 in. or one of those Asus VG278H monitors. I prefer having a high refresh rate monitor since I saw them in action, they are very smooth indeed.

I have also researched about those korean monitors they are cheap and some of them can overclock to 120hz. kinda scary to get one though.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Still a pretty awesome rig. Just keep in mind that with those korean monitors-which I would recommend in your case-are higher res as well (1440 not 1080). It's a great combo though with IPS color quality.
