I'm probably going to buy a 2001FP over here in expensive ol' Sweden. One question remains, how is it performing in lower resolutions. In games mainly(well only..?). Because if it is unplayable in lower resolutions than 1600x1200 and since I'm planning on keeping it for a long time I wil have to have the top video card or atleast at the very highest end..

If the scaling visible in regular screeenshots(it should be, no?) those are enough, if not could you please take pictures of the screen in a down-scaled resolution in-game. Preferably games like GTA:VC, BF1942/BF:V, Far Cry, or any other game really.. It would be nice to see different resolutions in the same game also..

Thank in advance!

ps.If possible, a picture showing the terrifing "screen-door" effect if possible...ds.

its great you wont realy notice much of a difference in games it was better then I expected it to be

A screenshot wont show the effects of downscaling. You would need to take a (very accurate, very detailed) photograph of the moniter displaying the image.

I can only say that the interpolation issues were what kept me away from LCDs for the longest time. I finally threw caution to the wind (after buying and returning a faulty 930SB) and bought a BenQ FP2091 (20" 16ms panel). The scaling (of this panel at any rate) is, in a word, brilliant. I'm not even sure if I could tell the difference between 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 (UT2K4, Far Cry, Painkiller, Warcraft3). *Perhaps* if I stopped and closely studied every minute detail. But I had UT2K4 set to 1280x1024 when I thought I had it at 1600x1200 and I didnt even notice until I went into the menu and saw the settings several days later.

Is that the same panel as the 2001FP?
