• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

It seems when I make a post and click submit, it goes through but it gives me the double post timeout page, but it doesn't show it posted when you scroll down.

It shows up eventually. It helps to leave for a [strike=1]minute[/s] week or so and come back.

It happens to me a lot too. Usually on longer threads with lots of pages. It delays for a long time, and when it finally moves, there's two of them. I also get it during some moderator actions like moving threads. It will tell me it's already in the forum I moved it to, and I look and I'm the only one who touched it. I've seen it happen to several other folks as well. Zero idea what the cause would be.

A good example is the BF3 thread: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1576228&page=109

All I did was type test in the quick post field, hit submit and then it timed for about 30 seconds and then posted this:

It also sometimes just hangs. It's why they kept making new MAP threads in Genmay, after the thread got so long quick reply borked for a lot of people.

Yep, I think the MAP thread tested this pretty well. Around 2,500 posts, quick reply stops working very well. I think it's related to VBulletin perhaps.

FWIW, PbNation (also VBulletin), automatically starts new threads after 2,000 posts in the old thread.

Also FWIW, I never had the problem with double posting, but I did have the problem with timing out.

The game threads seem to be working very quickly now. Dare I say that it seems to have been fixed?
