Double Gromacs B - XP Only?

I have noticed on all my XP console setups - I am getting tons of Double Gromacs B which is awsome. The Extra SSE2 boost really helps out.

But on my linux console setups - it is always gromacs - which is really slow.

Any ideas why?

It is supported, it may be due to various reasons such as configuration settings. I suspect it may be related to big WU being enabled or not. If this isn't the case then it may be the Advanced Methods which may be enabled or not that makes the differences. Also I should note this, it does not matter which cores you are folding, every bit helps. Probably does matters in the sense of PPD and the likes, but we don't decide what cores we get. Make the best out of what you get.

As far as settings, they are all the same
Big WU is selected
using advmethods flag

It is from the points stand point. A SimTGromacs core take almost 4 days on the p4, while the Double Gromacs takes only 5 hours. Makes a huge difference.

I personally advise against the advmethods, never was a fan of it. I guess like I said, work with what you get and I guess hope you'll get better cores the next time around...

I've gotten those on my linux box's with big off and advanced off too...of course mine are PIII 933 Mhz so didn't really do much for them
