I found this.... "thing"... laying around my house. I don't know where it came from. One day it just showed up on my desk. I'm afraid of it. Because I don't understand it. Its a 1 foot cable. with a male usb on one end. And what appears to be a male VGA on the other. I say "appears" only because I cannot fathom what the purpose of this combination would be. I must either rid myself of this alien component or find a sweet use for it. Any ideas?
 
VGA to USB adapter? USB to serial adapter? Its a cable, I dont think its going to steal your lunch money and beat up your wife.
 
I'm a nerd. I know it isnt serial. I'm not really afraid of it as much anymore as just perplexed to its purpose. No ideas?
 
It's most likely a proprietary peice of hardware for connecting a device like a joystick(with a female db15) to a usb port.
