4k from the same site. Also the 60Hz cap will be removed upon release is what has been posted around here someplace...

I can't select a resolution for eyefinity. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think it looks like ass but I'm disappointed about no 3440 X 1440 support. I've just been playing it in Windowed mode at 2560 X 1440.

Gameplay wise its like a really bad Unreal Tournament. After my very first match I was already a little bored. UT4 is free, looks just as well if not better and it's more fun.

kinda the way i felt. I thought graphics wise it looked good but seemed like i was playing UT with doom skins. I hope the single player does better cause they wont sell a lot on based on MP if i had to guess.

I thought it was alright. Still interested just for the nostalgia part of it. It played a lot like a modern-day Q3A IMO.

My PC could barely run it at 720p though :(. I didn't appreciate the lack of graphics adjustments, but I get it's just a beta - hopefully they will be kind to the PC crowd on full release. Time for an upgrade for sure though.

Given that something like ~10% of all gamers ever touch a multiplayer mode, that's not a big loss.

Looks wise the game is about equal to wolf new order from years ago. If they make the single player as fun as that one was, this game could be fun.

Hard to draw conclusions about the game itself. Multiplayer is... Eh. Doom meets Call of Duty? Melee attack feels very Halo to me too. Oh well, Doom 3's multiplayer wasn't good either, so we'll have to see. My GTX-660TI handled 1920x1080 85hz decently enough (won't let me select a 4:3 resolution for my CRT so that's what I had to go with). Couple of drops here and there but it was playable. I don't know. I'm feeling underwhelmed at this point.

If I'm being honest -- after playing the beta... I took "Doom" off my Amazon wishlist. They were already whoring their planned DLC, PASS. I seem to recall that Doom's of the past, they'd release it (and all the tools you could want) and everyone could do what they wanted mod wise/fun wise.

Felt like UT/Halo, but not in a good way. I fully expect this to be bargain bin / forgotten about in 6 months. There's nothing special about it to be honest, it's just skating on the coat tails of it's predecessor. I'm not hoping they fail, but holy crap they need to really pull a rabbit out of their hat for singleplayer.

I also put it off my mental list of games I'm interested in. Sad. I hope it isn't bad.

Same here. I was ready to buy it until I played the Beta. Felt very much like Halo and I was really hoping that it wouldn't :(

I actually like what little I could play of it. Stability was terrible though. Kinda hard to level up and unlock when exp metrics are only calculated at the end of match and you cant make it through one without crashing. The Overwatch Beta felt much more representative of a game ready to go gold. Overwatch kinda kicked Doom in the dick this weekend IMO.

The interesting battle is the 280x running even with the 780Ti as that was the card built to battle the 290x..
