Doom 3 CD Key Invalid

I just bought RoE on Sunday, and I installed it Tuesday since I was busy. When I load the game, right as the title screen pops up a window comes up saying my Doom 3 CD Key is invalid and to retype it. Since the RoE one is already there, I type the original Doom 3 one, and it fails. Then, I use only RoE. Fails. Only Doom 3. Fails. I have searched everywhere I can think of for a solution. Could someone please help? Thanks.
 
Start up doom3 normally, ensure your doom3 cdkey is correct. Then load roe and type in the roe cdkey. If you get a failure on the roe cdkey I would exchange roe for another copy assuming you did everything correctly.
 
Maybe they have something retarded like Ubisoft does with Chaos Theory. With CT they had a install key which was inside the jewel case, and then the actual CD-key printed on the back of the game manual.

Then its possible your key was added to a blacklist that was added as part of the patch. Teach you for playing a game you didn't pay for.

I didnt exactly "buy" it either and RoE works fine. I hate D3 though, so i uninstalled it halfway through level 1 b/c it just sucks.
