In general, are tv out dongles interchangeable? For example, if I have a dongle that has component out on it, can that be used on a card that came with a dongle that didn't have the component connectors? The plug is the same.
 
I know ATI has changed component dongles between different card generations, and I don't think ATI component dongles are compatible with nvidia ones.

You might want to be a little more specific.
 
sorry, meant to specify nvidia. one is a 7800gtx and the other is a 6200.
