Godaddy has always been good to me. You can search around and find coupon codes also.

I just registered a .com for $7.49 for a year last night on Godaddy using a code from fat wallet

GoDaddy is fine for domain registration.

Every once and a while they will have a $1.99 deal for a single year on new registrations. Otherwise, Version_3 hit it. I just renewed for a year for the same price from a random online code.

I use domain.com. I've never had any problems with them. I don't really like the interface used for DNS management, but that's not that big of a problem.
