Went to check Dogehouse.org to see if my account had a balance left on it after I stopped mining DOGE a couple days ago and see that the two owners had a falling out. Pronoob is no longer in the picture apparently and the site is being run by his ex-co-owner. The old servers are still up if anyone wants to extract their balance yet. But I don't know how long they will remain up. The message on the new site states 24h, but even now it's longer than 24h so the site may not remain up and functional for much longer. A new site and stratum servers are in place (though after this, I don't know if I will mine there anymore).

The old scam. Give people about 30 seconds to move out their funds, then say "sorry, you're too late, you've donated it to us because you waited too long."

With prices as low as they are, people are going to be folding up shop left and right now and taking all the "free" money with them.

Couldn't even log in with my account, I don't think I had any funds left in there though. Sad to see them go since they were one of the better pools.

I was thinking the same thing this morning when I saw the message. If nobody is actively mining there for at least a couple days, who's to know that they left things up for 24h to allow them to get their stuff off? And of course, the whole fallback of "but we're not a bank" and "we gave people time to get their coins off" will also come into play as well. I'm glad I had my auto payout set to like 2K so what I had left there was significantly less. But I managed to get it off there nonetheless. Sorry to those that didn't.

But ya, they were my go to pool because they were so big that pool luck didn't feel like an issue... block times were like minutes compared with hours on other smaller pools. And the 1% fee was tolerable. However, if I mine DOGE again it will be with a different pool.

i mined a bunch in that pool as well - it was a rather well run pool IMO, interface fast fast, snazzy, and everything was super smooth.

I pulled all my coins long ago, i rarely mine DOGE anymore, if I do, everything i mine is via coinotron since they do LTC/DOGE/VTC (just recently)

Only thing I don't like is their speed indicators always take the last hour of mining. So to actually notice any difference in hash rate in your setup it might be 20 or 30 minutes before you REALLY see the numbers going down.

Wish their VTC would grow a lot more -- i mined for 8 hours with them (5Mhash) and only got 1VTC, since the pool only had like 100 VTC miners at the time, its growing, slowly though.

I think they are under new mgmt or something..

Anyways, Im mining at sudopool.com for a bit now, its a multipool that pays in doge.

I have been mining at rapidhash and love them, but I want to try the multi pool out because it adds buying support for doge.

Mine VTC on vertsquad. When I had my rigs on, they were pointed there and was very happy with the pool and payouts. Large enough to cut variance and prop too.

Vertsquad is ran by a [H] member too :D

Never liked dogehouse anyways. Always found my payouts to be lower on there compared to two other pools I regularly used.

Learn people, really, from all the over night shops and one's that have screwed people stop keeping money online in these pools!
