Just picked up a P180 for case mod project and does the door on your P-180 do this?
[removed link to video to conserve bandwidth]

ahh yes, the infamous p180 door problem.
i'm just about to get started on transplanting my comp into my new p180, and luckily i didn't have the same issue. it does however affect many p180s. you've got two options:
1. use your antec 3 year warranty and call them for a replacement.
or
2. follow the instructions on this site to rectify the bend.

those instructions dont make sense and dont work. what does 'flush' mean

wait nevermind, i just flipped out on it, bending it back and forth madly, and it seems to have reduced the bulge to 1-2 mm

yeah mine does it, tried the 'hotfix' lol it helped but i want mine perfect. They are supposed to send me a new door.

Damn that sucks...Its just like trying to get a 2005FPW with no bleeding; just luck of the draw i guess.

they sent me a new one and it had the same problem. and its a real hassle gettin the old one off and the new one on

My damn front door broke...damn 2 tiny plastic bubbles hold this door on...do you think they would replace it under warranty? I really don't want to pay for a new door considering it happened less than 30 days from when i bought it and it really wasn't anything I did that broke it.

Yes, they will replace it. Although I haven't had to deal with them personally, I've heard so many good things about their customer support

I just got everything installed in my p180 with my new ninja, and I still cannot believe the temperatures I'm getting....I idle at 26 C on my 3700 Clawhammer, and it hasn't gone beyond 33 under load.

Weird. My door closes. BTW, where did you buy from? I bought my case from Newegg even though I get taxed the wretched Sales tax for Cali residents. ARGH! Though it was cheaper at the time with rebates. - thanksgiving weekend sale.

Bought it from a local retailer because it was cheap and close to work. Price was a big factor as I bought it for a case mod project. :D
Crappy store and staff, but they have some solid prices on some good stuff.

I hear there customer support is good, but they're no so great with colors :D

Was that a two black doors for a silver door, or two silver doors for a black door ;)

I used the fix posted on their website last week. It was fine for a week or so, but now is again showing similar signs although not as severe.

For those that requested a replacement under warranty. Did you have to send the origional door back?

I bought a P180 in august, and fairly soon after i got it, the door started "bulging" out. I contacted Antec, and they send a replacement front panel free of charge. All they asked for was an email with my invoice attached. The new door arrived a couple of days later, and works perfectly. I have to hand it to Antec on their customer service.

honestly, would be nice to have an all alum front panel assembly, but that would cost a lot more. Even so, the front panel assembly (the entire front part that comes off) is incredibly sturdy compared to a lot that i've seen.

"they sent me a new one and it had the same problem. and its a real hassle gettin the old one off and the new one on"

lol what? takes less than a minute.

i dont know about you but i have a habit of breaking the hinges
That's what I'm scared of, but I don't exactly want to be doorless for weeks while they send me a replacement unit, especially if they send a new door with the same problem as someone mentioned previously in here.

Pastic works great if you take care of it. At the very least, plasic is quieter than metal, and I think quiet was the point of the P180, am I right? So logically follow, they did good to use plastic.

flush is an engineering term for "in line with" or "flat against"

My case is relatively new. I've only had it for 2-3 weeks and haven't even installed anything in it yet. Hopefully with time it doesn't start bulging cuz that would really suck! Even though this case has many "plus" points; sometimes you just wish that paying $130 bucks for a case you wouldn't have to deal with these small annoying nuances - this door bulging issue and in some cases PCI cards not fitting properly,
