pretty much have all the same issues. My 3G will sometimes NOT rotate at all unless I flip it back to the original position for about 3-4 seconds and then rotate back. This never happened before OS 3.0.
Ever since OS 3.0 came out my 3G has had issues that get annoying. By that I mean horrible battery life if I have PUSH activated especially when talking on the phone or something else that's using the 3G network. Overall battery life is worse with OS 3.0 but when PUSH is turned on the battery gets kicked in the face.
My WiFi drops randomly. My iPhone also gets noticeable warmer then it did with the previous OS with or without PUSH activated.
Another annoying bug I've noticed is that my phone will occasionally "forget" how much charge the phone actually has. Basically my indicator will sometimes constantly says full charge. Plug in the USB or plug into the wall and it says it's full charge even if I'm been using it for the last hour talking. Only way to get it to report the correct charge again is reboot the phone.
Bottom line is Apple needs to fix OS 3.0 because OS 2.2.1 was perfect except for the lack of stuff from OS 3.0.![]()
Keep less than 3 pages of apps and you'll have no stutter.
Keep less than 3 pages of apps and you'll have no stutter.
Then Apple shouldn't allow you to have >3 pages of Apps.
It's a bug (if indeed this is the cause) and it needs to be fixed.
Yeah, there are 2 IPod Touches here, and both of them sometimes make you have to battle with the rotation to get an app to flip. (games show that the hardware sensors are working fine... it's just that some apps - including Safari - just don't always want to rotate right away)i also have a problem with the rotating of the screen sometime, i feel like im going to throw it at someone when im turning it!!
