Does your 7800GTX emit noise while gaming ?

[nebulous_1]

I saw a similar thread for the 7900Gt and wondered if anyone's 78s were making a "RattleSnake" sound while gaming.

[Viper16]

Nope, not mine!

[Icetron]

Uhhh nope.

[skittzle]

I never experienced this problem with my last card.

Maybe the phase transistor is being overloaded. I had a 6800ultra that it happened to and it caused a meltdown of the actual phase core.

But seriously I think maybe you should return it and get a new one.

Both of mines dont. But it does make a very unbearable sound when i blow the fan with Canned Air.

The 'Whizzing' sound?

On a semi-related note, my X1900 "clicks" while rotating the render pane in SolidWorks.
