does wubi delete your parition?!?!?!

i have just started the install on to my o:\ drive which holds all my ghost image back up files , but wubi is installing 46 % , pls can someone advise me

No. It installs as a file in your windows partition. You can add/remove it via add/remove programs within windows.

That said, performance is a bit slower than if it had its own dedicated partition.

Also, if you're interested, Linux Mint 6 has Mint4Win now (same as Wubi)

the original wubi exe and ubuntu install file was on the o:\ drive also so i am hpoing it did not clear the partition
