So, does watching porn shrink your brain? The researchers think it probably does. “One may be tempted,” they wrote “to assume that the frequent brain activation caused by pornography exposure might lead to wearing and down regulation of the underlying brain structure, as well as function …”.

what a epic waste of money, the results do not matter at all. If you watch porn, this study wont change it. I would rant further, but i have to go watch a skin flick....:D
 
If true, most of the male population, ages 16-50, is running around with pea-sized brains then.
 
How about the proven brain plasticity which shows the more you do something, the more neural connections are created? (At the expense of under used areas of the brain)
 
Since the media ran so many stories which drew the wrong conclusions from the study, can we then conclude that there may be a link between their shrunken brains and watching porn?

So doing math, reading, painting, or anything that requires brain use is what is causing alltimers?

Dear god some type of porn and chronic masturbation has plagued males since the first time a naked woman was spotted bathing in a river somewhere.
All the apple in the garden of Eden did was give Eve a set of knockers and changed the location of Adam's brain!
 
I dunno about shrinking your brain...but addiction to anything has the ability to physically rewire your brain. The behavior of addicts is predictable and that makes them vulnerable to being targeted by individuals who might exploit their thought processes. This ties directly into the NSA keeping records on people.
 
This is stupid. Brains don't "shrink" from porn. However being in the presence of a hot woman will often reduce it to nearly non-functional.
 
They could have just as easily concluded that, men who are honest about how much porn they watch have smaller brains.
 
By failing to measure or control for personality, the results of this study are virtually meaningless.

No one can deny that watching porn is healthy.
