I was just wondering?

I have a pretty good PC

ANd i have a Radeon 9800 pro
and a geforce4 440

So i connected my 19inch and a 17 inch up to that card
and a another 17inch to the geforce

so i am running 3 monitors ( I LOVE IT COULD NEVER GO BACK TO SINGLE)

so i was just wondering does having multiple monitors slow or hinder your system in any ways/ ( BIg Online gamer)

Thanks
SLICK

If you're using both ports on the main board it will suck up a bit of memory & mem bandwidth for the 2nd screen. Not a lot though.
I don't generally notice a difference, but it'd probably be a touch slower on a benchmark.
If your GFMX has dual outputs I'd probably put the 2 small screens on it & just run the center one off the 9800p. Otherwise don't worry about it or just turn off the 2nd screen on the 9800p if you need max performance for whatever you're running. That's what I do, since my 2nd card only has a single output.
