I have a x4 955 be and I upped the multi so it is at 3.4 instead of 3.2 and I noticed in windows the voltage was at 1.48 so I went back into the bios and set it to 1.35, I left the other voltages at auto but should I set them to there stock settings just incase it is doing this? what are the stock voltages for nb and the other 785g voltages? Thanks!

When set on Auto, your motherboard guesses how much voltage you need and applies it. The bad thing is that it is very careful and often applies alot more than you need. I would manually set all the voltages yourself just to make sure it's not overvolting. The most important ones to manually set beside the CPU v-core is the CPU-NB. You shouldn't need to set it any higher than 1.175v. RAM depends of what the manufacture recommends, the HT should be 1.20, NB the same, and SB somewhere between 1.2-1.35v.

like sicklown said.. the board will usually raise the voltage on its own.. but it is very inconsistent.. one boot up it may set it at 1.5v another it may set it at 1.45v also some boards have a hardset limit on how high it will take the voltage.. some will only go up to 1.5v max and will never exceed it on auto.. some have absolutely no limit and may set the voltage as high as 1.6v just to make sure its stable.. so like sick said set your voltages manually.. there are plenty of overclocking numbers with various coolers around the web for the 955 so you can get a pretty good idea of what voltages you need for what overclock you are shooting for so just use those as a guide..

as far as the other voltages like the chipset and IMC(NB) leave those on auto since you are using the multiplier to overclock..
