Does this sound PSU related?

OK, first look at my signature at all the crap I have installed in my system. I was running 8 hard drives, CPU/GPU/MOBO with all its stuff and my water pump from a 600watt OCZ Powerstream. I used to have an nvidia 7900GT overclocked and I never had any problems with freezing or bsods except for bad drivers. Now I just upgraded to the X1900XT, flashed it to the XTX and when I OC it (702/818) it will run at the desktop forever, but in a game it will hard freeze the PC after a couple of minutes. Now before you go thinking my OC is too high on the video, its all watercooled and well within temp limits and I do have it overvolted. It will sit at the 3D cube in ati tool all day without a problem, its just full screen gaming. Also, I was playing music yesterday and doing a decompression of a very large file, and my system hard froze. It wasn't doing any 3D stuff at all. Also, in 3Dmark I can pass the 3D part of the benchmark without problems at the speeds I just stated, however when it gets to the CPU test it hard freezes sometimes. With the nvidia hardware I had none of these problems. I'm pretty sure that my PSU is struggling to keep up with the power demand. Does this sound like a valid assumption?

I just bought a 700 watt OCZ Gamextream PSU with 4 18A 12V lines but now I've heard that the ATI cards like to have 1 large amp 12V rail, not several smaller amp 12V rails. How much truth is there to this? My plan was to run my hard drives all off the OCZ 600 watt and use the 700 for the main computer/cards. Should I just leave the OCZ 600 where its at, and remove all hard drives/CD rom and pump off of it? Thanks for the help guys.

You have 20 CCFL's? Ditch them...all.....there is nothing like crappy CCFL inverters to really mess with your 12v.

How does it work at stock?

All CCFL's are on a separate power supply not related to the power to the main components. All fans are also sepate, as well as the pump now. I moved it over because it draws 2 amps on the 12V line. So basically its just the board/cpu/gpu and 8 hard drives. It does work fine at stock as well as the CPU at stock. The thing is this, the CPU has been running rock solid at 2.6 ghz for almost a year without any trouble. Prime stable, superpi to 32million places. That is why I am almost for sure its power related, but I wanted to find out some opinions of what people might think here. FYI, I also have the fans/lights/pump on the 2nd power supply to get rid of noise. The 700 watt OCZ that I just ordered arrived today which will run all the lights/fans/pump AND all of the hard drives, plus 4 more hard drives I'm getting friday (Yes that's right, 12 hard drives in this monster) so I guess I'll find out soon enough if its all power related.
