If the boxes aren't damaged wouldn't that imply it was more a PNY f' up then Newegg's? Its not like Newegg makes the retail boxes and puts the cards in before they ship them out, or even opens them up and inspects them, unless I'm really mistaken on how a retailer works...

I don't blame Newegg for the 1st and 3rd card, they were clearly a PNY QC problem. However I'm a bit iffy with the 2nd one. The outside shipping box on that one was in perfect condition, but the videocard box itself was smashed. Whoever packed it at the Newegg warehouse should have known better.

I would count them all against PNY. The 2nd box didn't look bad enough to turn away, IMO. If anything, I would praise Newegg for paying for shipping both ways (at least for the 2nd one and hopefully 3rd) and replacing it relatively quickly.
But I would demand that they replace it with another brand 240 though. No way I would trust a PNY card after seeing that (at least another GT 240). That's impressively shitty.

They did pay for shipping both ways on the 2nd and 3rd card. I would have asked for a different brand card, but I'm no longer interested in PhysX right now. I agree with not trusting PNY. The only video card that's ever died on me was a PNY GeForce4 Ti 4200. I should have learned my lesson back then.
