i got a screenshot i took, of my X800XT AIW.

this is the second one i have gotten, and has been in my pc for less than a week.

absolutely not. that is a driver corruption or overheating issue.

You might wanna resize it to 1024x768, it is really big. Im running at 1600x1200, and it's still too big, the images dont resize on the forum, duh. But yeah, as a courtesy thing.

It could also be a power supply issue. I know that if i hook too much stuff up on my power supply i get weird artifacts just like that.

its stock clock. newest drivers. im a little irritated abou the whole situation. if anyone can provide any pointers like the one above, it would be apreciated. i am tired of sending back cards

BTW its got really good air circulation through the case... that pic was done without ATI tool installed, but i installed it later and tried to reduce ram clockspeed to 450(where my pro was default) and it still crrups the textures..

like i said any other pointes would be appreciated

The warning in the title is good enough. (for me at least)



I would try to RMA the card if changing drivers doesnt help. No reason to keep it if you have to downclock for stability. Maybe try making sure the HSF is making good contact? Sometimes the factory could mess that up...

hey thanks for ur help guys, i got it figured out..

hte video card drivers were somehow corrupt, even after just being installed for 5 days.

uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, and t fixed it.

I see you are OCing your CPU... Is the system Prime stable? You may have pushed your CPU to a limit where under full load you are erroring... that would also be a cause of your video driver corruption... file system/HDD write errors are a common result of an "over - the - top" over-clock! What power supply are you using also? High over clocks, and high power useage peripherals can also be a cause of your instabilities.

I know he had it figured out! I was posting a reson for why he may have had corrupt drivers in the first place! Have seen this as a tech way to many times!
