It's very subjective honestly. If it looks okay to you then it's fine, if it doesn't then change it? Personally, I'd have used a flat black paint (rattle canned my fair share of old lite on CDRW drives back in the day), but I don't think it looks bad.

It looks fine, but really it depends on what you want. I mean - hey it is not beige!

It also depends on the light in the room I bet. With the camera flash / direct light it likely looks worse than in indirect / dim light.
