im not sure where this belongs. but i have a bunch of old vcd's that i burnt onto cd-r's and nwo i ahve a dvd burner. does anyoen know of a program that converts them to dvd video. either straight to the VIDEO_TS files or to the .m2v and .mpa so that i can author them and burn them?????

if so please be kind enough to share a link.
 
I've been out of that scene for a while now, but IIRC, the following tools are free, and should do what you need. I cannot tell you how to use them, but there are tons of websites that can.
