Hia ,new to forum.

I'm looking into buying a Samsung S27B971D, from the information in the web it seems that it is the update to the previous Samsung S27B970D, although it appears to be only an update to a Matte bezel. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy it.

Amazon is temporary out of stock.
Overclockers.co.uk have a preorder of Samsung S27B970D for the 29 March, which is a little strange.

but both flatpannels and tftcentral say it is out this February of this year

I wasn't going to buy this very moment but I was leaning towards it, I guess its beween the samsung and Dell U2713H.

Does anybody else have a Samsung S27B970D and is it worth waiting round for the update or dive head first into Dell?

According to that flatpanelshd link it's the screen that has been changed to matte, not the bezel. The 970d has a glossy screen.

I think it's just taking a little while for the screen to reach retailers. Probably will be available in April.
 
Thanks for the reply, yeah that seems to be the case. I dont why I said bezel haha.

I might as well wait it out and see what happens, glossy screens may look good but can be frustrating when working in any sort of bright light. Damn those reflections. I just thought I was going crazy because I couldn't find any real information on it.
