Does the 6800GT have a temp probe?

It is in the nVidia control panel. Right click on your desktop and select "NVIDA Analog (or Digital) Display." One of the options is "temperature settings."
 
I think you have to install coolbits2 or enable it in RivaTuner to view the overclock and temp panels.

Like I said, I *THINK* I've never really messed with the nvdia control panel without coolbits2
