Does the 172x sit too low?

Hey everyone,

I am in the process of upgrading to dual monitors and was considering the Samsung 172x. I know several of you use this monitor and was wondering how many of you feel it sits too low on the desk? Any input is appreciated.

i hate how low mine is, makes me sad, and i dont want to just like, stick a book underneeth it cuz then my desk would look dumb

I used one of these for a while, and the height bothered me at first but I got used to it pretty quick. It depends on your height and your desk setup really. The unit does sit pretty low, but extreme conditions aside, it's adjustable enough that your viewing experience shouldn't suffer.
 
At the maximum height of the 710T, how far is it from the bottom of the screen (edge of screen, not bezel) to the table? Someone measure this please.

On my CRT, the bottom of the screen (edge) is 13cm from the table. The height is not adjustable. I find it too low, so I have to tilt the monitor up a bit
