Is there a cable that is the opposite of this: http://usb.brando.com.hk/image/usbtoprintercable.jpg Meaning, a female USB end and a male IEEE 1284 end? If there is, would it work if I plugged a USB mouse into the adapter and plugged it into the printer port? Thanks.

If it did work drivers would be an issue. I have to ask: WHY?


USB hub or pci card would be easier and similar in price. Either than or a USB>PS2 adapter.

Mice don't run on parallel.

I've done USB mouse to USB-to-PS/2 adapter to PS/2-to-DB9 serial adapter. Works fine.
