I have got my new 2007WFP, and I am using it to play xbo360, the game Blue Dragon.
But I encounter serious screen tearing during the game...
My question is, does it related to the 16ms respone time of the 2007WFP? I mean, does respone time affect screen tearing?
I heard that something about tearing in the dell forum:
if your screen is refreshing at a higher rate then your FPS. To illustrate this phenomenon: lets say that your screen is refreshing at 100Hz and the average FSP of a game your playing is 70. Then the monitor will display some frames that are not fully rendered. For example, the screen goes to refresh and the new frame is only 50% rendered, the frame that is displayed is 50% of the old frame and 50% of the new. This is commonly referred to as tearing.
Is that correct? thx a lot
