I currently have 2 SSDs not in RAID (don't want them to be, the second SSD is for backups) and an HDD. I have been using RST for years now, but due to a botched upgrade I have to clean install Windows 10. I am debating reinstalling RST or not. Is it a myth that it increases a single drive's performance? Or instead of installing RST, would it make a difference if I installed just the last compatible iaStorA driver (instead of storahci) with my motherboard? I'm using an Asus P8Z68-V motherboard from 2011 and V12.8.0.1016 is the last compatible RST driver.
Thanks!
Thanks!
