Does nvidia handle video out better than ATi?

Hey guys,I would like to know how nvidia drivers handle video out. Do you have to fiddle with the screen to get a good picture of does it take the video from the computer and center it by itself. Here is a pic of the ATI CP and how it works..

I had a Dell Inspiron 4150 laptop that had an ATI card, and comparing the video out on that machine to my Geforce 6800NU-- I would have to say the ATI had the upper hand when it came to video out. Just my personal opinion.
 
From personal experience, a nVidia card looks better on my TV. The colors seem really washed out with my 9800 Pro and old school Radeon VE. On the other hand the refresh rate on the TV with the nVidia cards was really noticeable.
