Does it really matter what brand I get?

For example i'm looking to buy the X800XL AGP. There are many brands,

Powercolor
Visiontek
Sapphire
ATI

Theres a couple more I forget the names.

Which one of these brands will provide the best warranty? Are there any known issues with some of them?

Visiontek has nice lifetime warrenties. ATi has cut theirs down hard, so I'd steer away, and Sapphire is just a good card. Not really up to date on their warrenties though.
 
Hmm well then i'd have to go with visiontek unless theres some big flaw with their cards. I know that most likely my card isn't just going to explode for no reason, but its nice to have peace of mind.
 
I just like the piece of mind that a company is confident enough in their card to put a lifetime warrenty on their card.

Someone cutting their warrenty period back is kinda sketchy.
 
Warranty probably is the biggest factor.


Also Visiontek support is poor. The fan on my GF3 died a while back and I e-mailed them about a dozen times and they kept telling me they'd send me a fan for it in a couple weeks but never did.
