Does it matter what SATA port?

IIRC, it matters on nForce 3, as ports 3&4 have a locked bus speed, while 1& are allowed to flaot and that can cause corruption. Don't think that's an issue anymore on NF4 or chipsets from other makers.
 
on the Ultra-Ds if you use 1 and 2 your OC goes to hell
