I just got a package deal for an AMD Phenom II 925, Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 mobo, and a Kingwin Revolution RVT12025 heatsink.

the CPU and mobo are both AM3 socket type but the kingwin RVT12025 is an AM2 socket type....so this heatsink absolutely will not fit onto this mobo?...lol so much for a package deal? or is it my fault for not asking first?

so should I just sell this heatsink and get another one with the AM3 socket?

another question is should this heatsink fit? sorry i am such a noob i mean i am comparing it up and down left and right inside and out i dont see this how this thing is going to fit
