I have a spare 120 Go SATA HD that I would like to use as an external HD for my laptop. Can I get something somewhere that would allow me to do that? Thank you!
 
There are plenty of enclosures around. You can get an external SATA enclosure if you have a free external sata port on your laptop (doubt it, maybe for a higher end model), firewire encloure if you have a firewire port (recommended as firewire has a faster sustained transfer rate) and regular USB enclosures
