does doom 3 support direct x 9.0c?

as the title asks...does it ? somehow i left for a week and came back and according to dxdiag i was only running dx 8.1 or somethin..thought i had 9.0b (cuz i Did) so i skipped over it in the installation part of doom....so now im online dling dx 9.0c..
 
Doom 3 needs at least direct x 9.0b to run. C is after B, so it will run on it fine.

Im sure the answer is on your doom box, and why on earth would you think it wouldnt?
