Does anyone use a clear acrylic case?

Guys,

I have been looking at these for a long time, but have not purchased one yet.

Any opinions or such from people who have either used them or use them now?

thanks in advance..

My brother has one. He likes it. Definitely not a LAN case though, IMHO. The fingerprints and smudges. A buddy of mine also has one, and he likes it too, although I think he's getting tired of it.

The pain in the ass about it though is that you have to take quite a bit apart to even do a simple upgrade.

But, since I don't own one, nor do I plan on it, I can't offer any more input. I do like the looks of 'em though.

Personally, I think the regular box-shaped acrylic case looks cheesy; however, another reason why I didn't get one is because it really traps heat really good from what I heard.

Think they might be prone to scatches as well?

I've got a Beantech BT-84 Emerald Dream.
It has excellent airflow - but damn hard to hide the wiring, and taking the side off to do anything inside is a pain in the arse.

I have a green acrylic one from xoxide, it arrived with the front panel messed up and they wouldn't replace it, they told me to contact the manufacturer, who ignored my emails. Also its heavy and prone to scratches like hell. Also you must have excellent wire wrapping skills or it looks like butt, finally drives tend to stick out like a sore thumb
