Working on a setup for a friend of mine (having never put together a SFF system), and I just wanted to see if anyone saw any problems with this setup (or have any suggestions of any sort).

oh, one question while I'm thinking of it, will the stock hsf be fine with this case? Or should I pick up a low profile hsf (and if so, which do you guys use)?
 
Danny Bui is right, you should get something modular. I have a 700W Fortron in my SG-02 and my cables are a mess. Silverstone sells a short cable kit for their modular PSU's, if I had the money, that's what I'd get.

Are you planning to overclock? 4 dimms and a stock heatsink may hinder your max oc.
 
The PP03 has been discontinued for a while and is unavailable anywhere. Why 8GB of ram anyways?

@TTB, 4 dimms won't be hindering any overclock on a SG02. HSF selection is what will bottleneck it, and that only.

True. I can't see how anyone would be hindered by 'only' 4GB. Use the money saved to get that Corsair or Enermax modular PSU.
 
Thanks for the links (and sorry for the late reply) Do you guys think that the 620w would be enough for this setup (plus the hd and dvd drive that I somehow forgot to put in there)?

Yeah that should be plenty. Also if you plan to OC, you might be better off with the P5E-VM HDMI (seeing that you chose a GTX280 so you don't seem to care about Crossfire) because I hear that it's better than the DFI with Quads. Anyone care to confirm?
 
Most issues have been touched on before.

Go with Asus P5E VM HDMI, that board is a waste unless you use crossfire.

Look at the Silverstone ST50EF-SC PSU. Short cables work better in that case.

8GB is a bit of a waste, consider going with 2x2GB, get something like PC8000 or higher.
