A login prompt appears on a customers comupter when he visits a certain website (which is 'hardwired' into a piece of measuring equipment, so I'm fairly certain it hasn't changed). It has the following image to the left.

The text reads (freely translated)
"Password required - Networking" (in the title)
"Firewall: 168.168.168.10
Area: Signature System InfoNode
Schema: basic
Username:
Password:"
The problem started when the user "installed some software" which he believes included some update to JVM. Does anyone know how to make this propmt go away? The site and the computer is on the same local network, so there's no firewall between, unless it was installed togther with "some software", but I can't find anything suspicious in his running services (which he mailed me some screenshots of). The customer runs NT4 Workstation SP6.
