Hiya,

My bottom case fan has broken so I've ordered a replacement but I can't for the life of me figure out how I got the front cover off in the first place, it was like 2 years ago or something.

If anyone has this case and can solve the mystery of the bloody front cover I'd be very grateful.
 
At a guess I'd say remove side panel and lift it upwards.

Failing that, large hammer and order another one! That's stupidly cheap for a PC case :)
 
take a look along the edges for plastic tabs to press in..
 
I second the plastic tabs, probably 4-6, look in the corners after removing both side panels.
 
DING DING DING, we have a winer!

There was indeed several plastic tabs which needed to be squeezed and pushed, came off like a charm after that. I just finished putting in the new fan and my replacement Nvidia 8800! Been absolute hell using my old X1300 while waiting for my RMA.
