my question is does 3-way Tri-Fire Support and extra Crossfire modes of Anti Aliasing besides the 2 way Crossfire 16x EQ? I just ordered my 3rd card 6970 & last time I owned a 3 way setup was with Nvidia GTX 280s and I could be wrong but I remember an extra SLI AA going from 2 way SLI to 3 way SLI. Just curious if this applies to AMD too

I've got a 4870x2+4870 setup right now and there's no additional AA options, but perhaps newer gen stuff is different.

6990+6970 here the 6970 is in an 8x slot. doesn't seem to be an issue for performance

With my 2x 4870x2 I can go all the way up to 24x Anti-Aliasing (8x Edge-Detect). How much AA do you want?
24x edge detect is good enough, I just wanted to know if the Crossfire AA 16x EQ scaled up any higher with an additoinal card.
