Is it worth it for gaming/movies?

I can get one for $485, which is a little bit over my budget. However, if it is a great monitor then I don't mind. I'm wondering if the difference is negligable though unless you need excellent color accuracy. Also, does the slightly higher input lag (compared to a TN panel) negatively effect you in FPS games?

As for possibly getting a TN panel:

Asus VW246H
Asus VW266H

Are these good if I'm not using anything like Photoshop?

Appreciate any help. I've been researching monitors for days, but I just haven't been given the push yet.

Anyway, if you are talking about the refurbished one then I'm considering that as well. A responsive 1920x1200 IPS is just what I want but I'm afraid of the wide gamut and dithering. Eh.
