"SurePower 600W BTX/ATX Smart Cable Power Supply" Made by Mad Dog Multimedia...

It has native support for 24PIN motherboards (so I wont have to use my adapter) But my main concern is, I've never heard of this company, will the PSU be good For my FX55 build up?

save yourself some headache and stear clear of mad dog. check the sticky in for the reputable brands.

I did check the sticky, I didn't see Mad Dog listed, but I could have passed it

oh...hehe...maybe it was the xtremesystems forums I saw it on. Mad Dog is basically your typical "no-name" power supply from what I've seen.

It may be rated at 600w...but that's nowhere near the quality of the 600w you'd get from an enermax, fortron, PCP&C, OCZ PowerStream, or Antec to mention a few.

I googled it up, but no reviews on it. It may be a decent PSU, but I highly doubt it...at least not for the long run. I'd stear clear of it until someone with more knowledge steps in. If you're looking for modular PSU's, check out the OCZ ModStream and PowerStream, or Antec NeoPower series.

:EDIT: Ultra-Xconnect is another modular one...but seems to be hit and miss on reviews and satisfaction.
