Does anyone else ever go to newegg.com

And just torture themselves by surfing over all the things they want and reading about how great it is, even though you know you can't buy it right now? I hate doing it, it leaves me with this empty space, but it's so addicting.

but as soon as you get what you want, then you go back and start planning your NEXT upgrade :D It's a vicious, never-ending cycle! Damn you Newegg and your reasonable prices, Damn YOU!

Yeah, sometimes I look it up when posting to get ideas about systems.
The most depressing thing is that the prices are in US dollars. So they're even more over here. But the prices over here in Australia when they're sold by retailers are ridiculous. Damn exchange rate + mark up + charge just for the hell of it = prices you wouldn't recognise if you just multiplied the price on Newegg by the exchange rate. :(

Raving I know. GenMay perhaps. But hey, its my opinion, and I felt like telling you [H]ard people (whether you liked it or not)

I wish newegg would ship to Canada, it would save me so much money. If I want to buy anything from there I have to go through my cousin in Seattle, which means shipping goes through the roof.

I can't say that I often find myself searching their database for all the new goodies that I can't afford (paying for college will do that), but I certainly have done my share in the past. Overall though, if I bother going to Newegg.com nowadays, it's to actually configure a system for someone. I just logged an order of $800 for 2 budget systems that I'm constructing for my friend's father and his friend. Newegg is just a terrific retailer to work with, all around.
