I was at an supermarket called Aldi's (some germen companie that come to AU or something I dont know) and they have an pc there that said there was an Nvidia 6700XL in it (cleary in large words on the box), but I just look on Nvidia's site and I dont think it exist.

What you think mistake or what?

uh and the brand of the PC was Mevion I think.

Definitely a mistake. 6800 is used by nVidia, and XL is used by ATi. As for where they got the 6700? Who knows.

Is there a floor model?

If so....

Go back to the place with 3Dmark05 on a cd and install it.

Then give us benchies.

A quick google search leads me to believe that its a 6600gt.

I didn't know that Aldi's existed outside of the US.

Last time I'd been to a Aldi's (like 3 years ago) they weren't even carrying PC's.

lol.

supermarkets around here don't even carry my bawls! let alone PC parts.....

Yeah Aldi's is in Australia now for like the last 8 months now (maybe more or less) but anyway there is no Floor model because its really a groceries supermarket with electrical stuff

Here is what the rest of the Pc had in it.

P4 830 3.0GHZ 64Bit Processor

1GB of some unknown ram

250GB HD

Heaps of software and Winxp sp2

Case I havent seen before

Card reader

and some other stuff that I cant remember because its was 41c outside today in Australia.

Guess how much it cost...................................................$1700 AUD from some unknown company and that is with no Monitor.

No mistake. You can check out this link:
http://www.aldi.com.au/product_01/product_533.html
It says:
NVIDIA® GeForceTM 6700 XL High-end Graphics Card with 128MB PCI Express x 16 Bus concept at 525MHz

The brand is Medion. It's a company based in Germany and they make very decent pc's with a lot of bang for the buck and extended warranty. They use MSI components. When there is a pc for sale at Aldi Europe, a lot op people come to the store hours before openingtime to buy one.
A few years ago they had a similar pc with something they called a Radeon 9800XL. It was basically an overclocked 9800 Pro. I guess the 6700XL is some kind of beefed up 6600GT.

yeah that's it . For some reason I couldnt find the product section (I am tired so yeah that maybe it)

Thats no Typo, there really is a 6700XL, it was ment to be a card thats performance fit between the 6600LE and 6600GT
.
6700XL

Core 525 and Memory at 1100

I miss the good ol days when you had 5-6 video card options for each line to choose from...now there are 50-60 for each line...

ATI and Nvidia are trying to confuse the hell out of the average Joe video card buyer.

I'm joking, but I was in vent with some other WoW players and I heard

"... the best buy guy said that the geforce 6200 was as fast as the radeon 9800..."
"how much ram did it have"
"256"
"man thats fast..."

I just laughed and laughed...
