Does a game like this exist?

Online multiplayer game, Diablo/MMO works. Sever side characters.
Modern setting with guns and crap.
Random style loot like Diablo.
Some RPG elements

I want to play an MMO and I want to play Diablo but I'm sick of the fantasy crap and the stupid way loot works in MMOs. I like Diablo style random loot (even liked Diablo 3's loot). I hate everyone using the same "best" items in MMOs.

Hellgate: London went free to play a little while back. While it bombed when it was launched in 2007, it meets most of your requirements. I actually enjoyed the game.

People still play Hellgate: london? You've got to be kidding lol

Yea, I might just reinstall Borderlands and play solo to get my fix. I just love the feeling of "getting rich" in Diablo games. It doesn't really work in MMOs because everyone can easily get the same gear.

Yeah, I think it's really popular in Asian markets, and it was re-released here. kinda crazy.
