my board : Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 (PCI-E 1.1)~~poor!!
CUP : QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, 3400 MHz (8.5 x 400)
RAM : DDR2 1066 2Gx2
videocard : 4870x2 DDR5 2G
Q1 : Please, what is the difference of 4870x2 performaces on either PCI-E 1.1 (my current board) and PCI-E 2.0 (such as P45), and changing my board is suggested ??
Q2 : what edition of ATI driver is best for my 4870x2, 8.8 edition ??
Q3 : 4870x2 on XP SP3 with playing crysis is just like 4870 single performace ? (by my computer : 1024*1280 all very high 4AA only 20~30 PFS, is that better on vista SP1 ? )

Q1: I would assume there's a sizable difference between PCIe and PCIe 2.0
Q2: Unless you're having specific problems with your current drivers, I would always recommend upgrading towards the latest, official, drivers.
Q3: You're bottlenecked at that resolution. I hope you have a bigger monitor, otherwise your 4870X2 was a waste.

Ouch...That resolution is terrible for that card..
But PCIe1.1 shouldnt be an issue.
