Does 360 have optical out?

[mista ting]

Does Xbox 360 have optical out for audio?

[Sixthsense]

Yes it does

[mista ting]

is it located on the 360 itself? because i wanted to connect it to my 2007WFP via VGA cable but the cables only outputs 2 coax wires for audio and i dont see any VGA/Optic cables

[Hyperblau]

the vga cable itself has the optical out port on the bit that plugs into the console.

[Sixthsense]

Should of been more clear, Hyperblau's statement is correct

the vga cable itself has the optical out port on the bit that plugs into the console.

The included Composite/Component cable is the same way. Next to where the plug that goes into the console splits into the cable there is a little black area with a hinged door, that's the optical out. That's how I've got my 360 hooked into my stereo, works great!
